Who it is for

A course for people who run launches themselves

Marketing and brand staff

If your role now includes product presentations or launch days, the course gives you a working vocabulary. You learn how a brief becomes a schedule, what a production partner needs from you, and how to judge whether a plan is realistic. You leave able to run a rehearsal, read a run sheet and talk to a venue without guessing at the basics.

Creatives and aspiring producers

Designers, filmmakers and performers often want to bring their work to a live audience. Here you practise cueing a reveal, framing a speaker and keeping a stream steady. The sessions are built around real production workflows, so what you rehearse is close to what happens on the day. It is a way to move from making things to staging them.

How learning progresses

You begin with project stages and briefs, then move through cues, presenters, cameras, streaming and venue preparation. Each module builds on the one before, and guided practice sessions come before independent exercises. Instructors review your cue sheets, run-throughs and camera plans with plain, specific feedback. By the final module you can assemble a complete event plan from first brief to recording delivery.

Curriculum

Six modules from brief to recording

  • Module 1: Project Stages and Briefs

Module 1: Project Stages and Briefs

  • Module 2: Cue Planning and Run Sheets

Module 2: Cue Planning and Run Sheets

Build cue sheets and a sample event schedule that runs from doors opening to the final applause. You learn to write cues another person could call without you.

    Curriculum →
  • Module 3: Presenter Rehearsals

    Module 3: Presenter Rehearsals

Coach presenters through run-throughs, timing and stage positions using practice scripts. You learn how to give notes that help a speaker settle rather than stiffen.

    Curriculum →
  • Module 4: Stage Filming

    Module 4: Stage Filming

Place cameras, frame speakers and capture a product reveal from several angles. You practise choosing shots and keeping coverage consistent through a live moment.

    Curriculum →
  • Module 5: Live Streaming and Recording

Module 5: Live Streaming and Recording

Set up a stream, monitor audio and video, and organise recordings for delivery after the event. You learn what to check before going live and how to file what you captured.

    Curriculum →
  • Module 6: Venue Preparation

    Module 6: Venue Preparation

Use a venue preparation guide to plan power, access, setup time and safe cable runs. You learn the questions to ask a venue long before the load-in.

How you learn

A path from first brief to finished event plan

The course follows the order in which a real launch project unfolds. Each stage is practised in guided sessions before you try it independently. Instructors give feedback on your own documents, so the work you produce is the work that gets reviewed.

  1. Read the brief

You start with project stages and learn what a brief must contain before anyone can quote or plan. Practice briefs show you how gaps appear and what questions close them.

    What you leave with

A short list of questions and a clear project outline for a sample launch

  2. Plan the cues

You write a cue sheet and a sample event schedule, from doors opening to the last applause. Marcus reviews how clearly another person could call it.

    What you leave with

A cue sheet and run sheet you can hand to a colleague

  3. Rehearse the presenters

Using practice scripts, you run presenters through timing and stage positions. Jenna shows how to give notes that build confidence instead of adding pressure.

    What you leave with

A rehearsal plan with timings and marked stage positions

  4. Film and stream

You place cameras, frame a product reveal and set up a live stream with audio and video monitoring. Priya guides the work and the way recordings are organised afterwards.

    What you leave with

A camera plan and a stream checklist for your sample event

  5. Prepare the venue

With a venue preparation guide, you plan power, access, setup time and safe cable runs. The aim is a plan a venue manager could read without confusion.

    What you leave with

A venue preparation plan covering power, access and setup
